Hello!
Just popping in with a quick post to share the coffee card I made a couple weeks ago with the Tim Holtz exclusive STAMPtember set. I was thrilled with how this one turned out.
For this card I stamped the image on Bristol paper and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. I also stamped it in Lawn Fawn Walnut ink onto a die cut kraft card stock rectangle. I tried out my copic airbrush system for the first time and airbrushed a brown around the edges of the image. I thought I would give this a method a try versus trying to achieve the look with distress inks. I think the fade out to the kraft card stock worked much better this way.
I stamped some coffee beans in Doe ink using a stamp from Lawn Fawn’s Love you a Latte set. I stamped them on the kraft panel as well as the Natural card stock base in such a way that they looked scattered around the image and not like pattern paper. I fussy cut out the cup with straw and label and popped it up with thin foam squares over the image stamped on the background panel. I finished it off by matting the panel with dark brown burlap for some fun texture.
Thanks for stopping by today. I’m getting my craft room finally set up so soon I will be able to share pictures!
