The Lonely Chair

Hello Everyone! Today I am popping in to share a card I made to play along with the “Pucker Up Buttercup” Kissing technique challenge over at A Blog Named Hero.

For my card I inked up the arm chair from the Lawn Fawn Dad’s Day set in soft sand shadow ink and then kissed it to the Hero Arts Envelope Pattern inked up in Cup O Joe shadow ink.

I traced around part of the image with a brown marker so that it would pop more.  The sentiment is from the new Hero Arts Studio Calico set and was stamped in Brown Sugar ink. (supplies are linked below)

On a separate note…I had a request to see my crafty space. Please excuse the poor video, I filmed with my phone and it’s hard to open drawers and show stuff without being a little shaky, but for those of you who are interested here you go.

Thanks for stopping by today! 🙂

  1. Thanks so much for the peek at your space. I intend to have a room for myself one of these days, so I really appreciate seeing what works for others.

  2. Totally adoable card! Clever idea to outline the edges for more definition. Loved your video, too! When I first saw the Stickles, I thought they were up there with magnets. I think I saw someone else do it that way once, but I like the velcro idea much better! Lots of great storage ideas… thanks! 🙂

  3. What a sweet card Chari! I just want to curl up in that comfy chair with a book and a cup of tea 🙂 I thoroughly enjoyed seeing your craft space (Holy Copics Batman!) I also have half a room to work with although yours is much neater than mine hehe. Thanks for playing along with us at A Blog Named Hero!

  4. its so funny to see the space from your angle for once!! Its a great space, very organised, I like it! I'm after a tall bench like the one you have too! I just wish our Target stores sold organisational drawers etc like yours do (for the same price!! they're expensive here).

Gorgeous card. Kinda makes me sad to think of him as lonely!

  6. Such a SWEET card, Chari! I love the heart in the empty chair-adorable!!!

I appreciate your well organized tiny crafting space! I am reorganizing mine now and adding an Ikea desk and 2 drawer units. I can't wait 'til those are put together by my hubby and in use!

  7. I love your card! Thank you for sharing your craft space! It was really helpful to see how you've organized things in part of a room. I don't have a craft desk after moving, and I really miss it. I need to take over the corner of one of our rooms. 🙂
