Young Crafters Unite! Challenge #11

It’s that time again, time for another Young Crafters Unite! Challenge.  For this month’s challenge we are playin with “Many Layers!”
For my card I die cut some circles from an old pattern paper pad and used both the positive and negative spaces to create my layered design. The little bird is a studio calico wood veneer shape colored with sweet plum memento ink. I really liked these little shapes and think I want to get some more soon.  The sentiment is from a new Hero Arts Studio Calico set that I just got and can’t wait to play with more.
Be sure you check out all the other amazing design team creations and all the challenge details at the Young Crafters Unite! blog including the amazing prize up for grabs.

  1. This is so cute! I love the circle layers – and those wooden venier shapes are AMAZING! I've pocked up a couple of them (the potty people, cameras, houses, & mini stars!) and have played with them a bit. If I'm completely honest, I can truly say I'm hoarding them a bit too – they're SO cute!
