I fell behind on my blog posting for Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week so forgive me as I share some projects a little late.
I love the card I have to share with you today. I combined the new Big Scripty Words Hot Foil Plates with Wheely Great Day and the new Fishtail Banners.
I was trying to recreate the look of a brightly lit up carnival against the backdrop of a summer night sky. I think it was pretty successful. I love those rainbow banners on that inky dark background and the Ferris Wheel with the birthday critters is just adorable. I used critters from Wheely Great Day and Fly High. For the critters without party hats I added a small balloon from the Coaster Critters set.
The sky is created with seedless preserves, villainous potion, and uncharted mariner distress oxide inks with gold metallic watercolor splatters. I used Rainforest cardstock for the ground which is perfect in this night time setting. Since I used a hot foil big scripty word as part of my sentiment I heat embossed the rest of it in gold embossing powder to match.
