Hello! I have another spooky slimline card to share today. For this card, I’m moving from a haunted house to a spooky castle with the Lawn Fawn Build-A-Castle die set.
The spooky sky is created on Bristol cardstock with Wild Honey, Crackling Campfire and Seedless Preserves distress Oxide ink. Then I went back over it with the cloud stencil adding some more ink to create the more subtle cloud shapes. I also added water and paint splatters for texture.
I created my castle by adding black glitter gel through the brick stencil to my die cuts then added all the decorative elements on top after the castle was built and dry. The spider webs are cut from pearlescent vellum to look like the simmer of spider webs in the light. I used elements from the scalloped treat box haunted house add-on and the build-a-house Halloween add-on. The little gravestones are stamped using the Spooktacular stamp set and the small pumpkins are from Happy Harvest.
To finish off the spooky look I cut the bottom with the Spooky Fence Border. I also added glow in the dark embossing powder on the moon so that it has a glow in the dark effect.
