Gone Bananas For You

Hello! Valentine’s Day is at the end of this week so I made a few fun V-day cards this weekend to share with you this week.  Today’s card uses My Silly Valentine, an older Lawn Fawn set but one of my favorite ones for Valentine’s Day.

To make the tone on tone background I stamped the banana image in Butter Bar ink on Daffodil yellow paper from Hero Arts.  I cut the scalloped circle from some new Hello Sunshine paper and layered it behind a white card stock circle.  I used a Signo gel pen to create the faux stitching around the circle in a color that matched my stamped hearts and I finished off by accenting my hearts with pink stickles.
