Welcome to Chari’s Stitches!

Hello Friends!

If you don’t already know, in addition to playing with paper, I also like to stitch! You probably already know this if you have seen my embroidery hoop patterns with Lawn Fawn. Well, I did a thing and made a Flosstube video finally. It is the year in review. Everything I completed stitching in 2023.

One of my personal goals this year is to share more. After taking a full-time position at Lawn Fawn in August and leaving a job that was more draining than I realized, I want to make better use of my free time and be more creative and share that creativity with you here. My blog had just become a secondary place for my Lawn Fawn projects to live which was great but I want it to be more because my life is more than that! So here is to 2024 a year of growth hopefully!

So if you are a stitcher too or maybe you are not and just want to see what I have been up to this past year, you can check that out in my very first Flosstube Episode #1! Happy Stitching!

  1. Congratulations on making some positive changes in your life and for your new full time position with Lawn Fawn. I can’t wait to see what all you have in store. I have so enjoyed seeing what you have stitched and created. Your Flosstube was a delight to watch. You have a happy and engaging presence. I saw your mushroom stitched card and love it. Looking forward to whatever else you have in store. Happy New Year!

  2. Amazing work you do. I use to hand quilt and cross-stitch—in my 20’s. You are making me rethink the stitching now that I’m in my 60’s. Your work is beautiful.

  3. Hi Chari. How fun to see a video so different from watching you on Lawn Fawn videos. I love to stitch as well but I have a hard time making time to stitch so your video did encourage me to go pick up a needle and set my Copics aside. 🙂 Great video and I have enjoyed your stitching patterns on LF as well. Happy crafting. 🙂 Donna

  4. Astonishingly shed at the work of your hands. I love the materials and design you’ve chosen and of course the will to finish. I want to thank you for the inspiration. I will be checking back, so please continue to post.

  5. Wow! You accomplished a lot in 2023 – and it’s all so gorgeous!! Would you consider doing a tutorial (or have you already) on some of your finishings? I have no idea where to start with that. Thank you!
