Stitched Spiderweb Halloween Card

Hello Friends!

We are on the cusp of Spooky Season and I am ready! Fall is my favorite time of year and I am 100% ready to say goodbye to Summer and hello to Autumn. Today I have a fun Halloween card that uses the Embroidery Hoop Snowflake Add-on to create a cute spiderweb! I am also introducing some new patterns for the embroidery hoop at the end of this post so there is a lot to share.

So it is just a happy accident that the snowflake makes a perfect spiderweb as it was not designed that way, but it makes sense since the geometries are similar. Once I stitched this idea up and saw just how cute it was I knew I had to share it!

Of course, no spiderweb is complete without a cute spider. I used the big spider as well as the tiny one from Cute Cobweb and gave both of them some wiggle eyes. I love the two sizes of eyes on the big spider. I think it makes him look a little crazy but super cute. For the background, I cut the Dotted Moon and Stars Backdrop from Fake Tan cardstock and layered Sunflower cardstock behind.  The sentiment is a combo of Henry’s ABCs die-cut letters and Riley’s ABCs stamped letters. The Candy Corn twine is the perfect embellishment along with some Cilantro green stars cut with the Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag die set.
