Hi Friends!
Sorry I have been absent from my blog, it has been a busy week! The good news though is that Granny got to go home last weekend, so now she can recover in the comfort of her own home, no one likes being stuck in a hospital bed! I ended up giving her 4 cards throughout the week since her stay there stretched across both Valentine’s Day and her Birthday (big bummer!). Here is a quick little card I made for her in the middle of the week. I had not had the opportunity to use this particular image from the Lawn Fawn On the Mend set so I jumped on the chance.
The background panel is part of Cosmo Cricket’s Clementine paper pad. I cut the card base to fit the panel and added a little white stitching. The clouds (although it’s hard to see) were cut from some white felt that had a sprinkling of glitter on it, which I found at my local Michael’s. I colored the turtle with copics, cut him out and adhered him with foam adhesive. The inside reads “wishing you a speedy recovery.”
On another note…Kelly Marie is introducing our new Design Team members this week on the Lawn Fawn blog as well as sharing some organization ideas for the craft room! Today she is introducing Linda (who I had the pleasure to meet at CHA) and featuring some photos of organization ideas from MY little crafty space…Go check it out HERE!
