Hello Friends!
Sometimes you make a card that just makes you insanely happy. Today’s card is one of those. It may be one of my most favorite cards ever. I had fun idea and after a lot of planning and thought it all came together so perfectly. Today I’m sharing a Swish ‘N Pop card inspired by Kermit the Frog singing The Rainbow Connection. And yes…I did hum the song to myself a lot while making this card.
Kermit is made using the new Tiny Gift Box Frog Add-On die. His log is cut from the Birch Tree Dies and I created his banjo myself. I used the Bayou Backdrop stencils to help set the scene of my swamp along with grassy border dies and the cattail border die.
As you pull the Swish ‘N Pop Pull tab the rainbow moves behind Kermit revealing the heart at the end. I used the Stitched Rainbow along with the Little Music Notes dies to create my musical rainbow. The rainbow reminds me of the lines of a sheet music staff so it was the perfect place for the music notes.
