Hello! I can’t believe it is Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week again! Today we are featuring the new set Trim the Tree. This set has matching dies that will cut out almost every single image in this set.
I made this card before I had the matching dies in my hot little hands. I stamped the images and built my tree on watercolor paper and heat embossed it. I colored the tree with distress markers and a water brush. The decorations on the tree are stamped with metallic pigment inks. I used the Woodgrain backdrops set to decorate the kraft panel. I also stamped the brown card base with elements from the set using brown ink for a tone on tone effect. I finished the card off by embellishing with peppermint lawn trimmings twine.
Be sure to visit the Lawn Fawn Blog for more projects with this set!

Super cute, Chari!
So cute!
Love the wood grain panel. It really sets off the tree.
The woodgrain brings back memories of the paneling in my childhood home! The metallic inks are a great touch.

Chari this is fabulous, fun and elegant. The woodgrain backdrops did not come home in my most recent order, how foolish of me.
