Today for Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week we are featuring the new Giant Outlined Oh What Fun and Merry & Bright dies. This new style of die is a lot of fun with the frame and makes a great simple card front.
For my first card I made a card slightly bigger than the A2 size so that it has a nice wide border, this card measures 6″ x 4.75″ I used Knit Picky Winter paper for the background and the inside portion of the letters. I adhered the outline and letters to acetate so that I could create a shaker card!
I used the thin foam strips which fit perfectly behind the width of the frame to create a shaker card. For my next card I took the Giant Outlined Oh What Fun die to make a Birthday Card!
I thought this was a great idea to try and stretch this die further than the holiday season. I cut the frame from pixie dust cardstock and layered vellum behind the letters. I stacked a couple die cuts up so it was nice and thick and the vellum was lifted up off the Really Rainbow stripe background.
To really make this look like a birthday card I found some dies in my stash to create some birthday die cuts. I am using the smaller balloons from the Party Balloons die set and the party hat from the Stitched Cupcake die set. You can see both of these cards as part of the intro video on the Lawn Fawn blog.
