Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week: Scripty Joy + Winter Penguin

Hello!  Back again with another post for Inspiration Week! Today we are featuring the and . I am in love with this little penguin and how you can make him look like he is writing the sentiment with his skates.

I colored him with copics and cut him out with the coordinating die.  I used the stitched hillside border dies to create an icy hill for him to skate across.  I used two different colors of blue ink so that I could overlap my sentiment lines.  The shape of the card is created using the circle and scalloped circle stackables.

I stamped the snowflakes in white pigment ink and used the string and tiny bow from Joy to the woods to stamp in pale blue ink to give the subtle look of the snowflakes being hung from the top of the scene.  I used the heart dies to cut some pink hearts to match the penguin’s skates and scarf and covered them with wink of stella glitter for some shine.

I have shared this project previously during sneak peek week back in July. I layered the scripty joy die cut over the large stitched snowflake then created a little scene with Winter Sparrows at the bottom.

I added a few sequins and a bow in peppermint lawn trimmings twine for a few final touches.  Stop by the to check out more projects with and .
