Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week: Yeti, Set, Go!

Hello!
I can’t believe it is Lawn Fawn October Inspiration week time already, wow how time flies! Today we are featuring the new half size set Yeti, Set, Go.  I have to say that this set is a favorite around my house, my husband likes to come up with crazy ideas for cards every now and then and seems that it always starts with “you could have the Yeti do this.”  My card is one I made awhile back prior to CHA. It is a fun slider card that took some figuring out to make it work but so glad I took the time because I think it’s super fun!

The decoration of the card is pretty simple because the slider construction was more complex.  But now that I have done it once I want to try again making something similar…perhaps with a video in the future…we shall see. ๐Ÿ™‚

Now for a bonus card! This card was made by my husband to send to Mike and Kelly, he thought up the design I just helped him with showing him supplies and techniques, he did all the stamping and coloring work himself!

Didn’t he do a great job! Can you tell he reads comic books? Every idea he has seems to be like a story with multiple panels. ๐Ÿ™‚

Be sure to stop by the Lawn Fawn Blog to check out all the other projects the design team has made with Yeti, Set, Go.  And Kelly is of course having a give away!  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Chari,

I loved your card when I saw it on the LF post and am excited that you might be willing to do a video on the construction of it as well (please!). Then I saw your husband's card, and I have for to say, he's giving you a run for your money. . . Lol! He has a great sense of humor and did a terrific job with his card. Thanks for sharing both of these with us, they made me smile. Now if I can only win this adorable set with the yeti ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Ohhh your 2 cards are so funny ! I'd like a video about the slide card too if you have time ( I always like your videos) to help me see how it's working. The possibilities are endless with little critters stamps !

  3. Slider cards are so fun. I don't know if I can wait for a video or if I'll try it on my own. Love your husband's card. I'm not sure I could share my supplies with my husband! ๐Ÿ™‚
