Hello!
Welcome to the first day of Lawn Fawn’s mini release week. Our summer release has been postponed a bit but we wanted to give you some new products to tie you over until June. The new set Village Heroes is super cute and honors our first responders and front line workers. 100% of the proceeds from this set will go to COVID relief.
My card has a simple scene that features pattern paper. Using pattern paper for backgrounds and texture is a great way to make cards quickly so you can make lots of cards for all the front line workers you wish to thank.
I used papers from Hello Sunshine and Dandy day to make my little scene and the Oh Happy Day pattern paper makes a great wide frame. I made my card using the hospital and ambulance but this basic layout can be used for any of the buildings and vehicles in this set.
You can actually check out how this card came together as well as a fun slimline card inspired by Megan in a video tutorial on the Lawn Fawn blog. Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more projects using this fun new set.
