This week the Lawn Fawn design team is playing with some yummy ribbon from the generous people at May Arts. Thanks so much for beautiful box of ribbon! A couple of the ribbons I received inspired me to make some nautical cards with Float My Boat.
I used the 2.5 inch cotton blend with vintage print ribbon to create a big banner as my background. I stamped the waves image with blue ink behind the ribbon.
I also used the 5/8 in satin/grosgrain double band ribbon to bring in the aqua color of the waves. I used the Let’s Polka papers for my boat image, banner and hearts. And I finished it off by tying a bow with the 1mm waxed cord for the front of the boat.
