Welcome back for day 2 of Lawn Fawn inspiration week. Today we are sharing projects using the new Village Shops stamp set. This set works well with Happy Village to great some little towns scenes on your projects.
I used the stitched hillside backdrop: landscape to cut some green pattern paper as a base for my little village. I colored my images in a rainbow to create a very colorful village. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out then tucked them behind the hillsides which I layered over some blue watercolor wishes paper for the sky.
I also die cut some of the little icons for the shops and added them to the roofs like signs. I think this looks really cute, especially since not all the shops have windows big enough to stamp the images, this is a fun way to just add a little more detail to the scene. I also used the simple gift card slots die to create a place for a gift card inside to go along with the sentiment.
