Hello! Lawn Fawn Release week continues today with the newest installment of the Perfectly Plaid collections, Perfectly Plaid Spring. My project today uses these new spring plaids with the new Stitched Basket.
I cut the basket base from two different plaids. I used the large 12×12 pattern for the outside pink part of the basket and the yellow plaid from the smaller 6×6 pad for the inside. I just layered the yellow inside after getting the basket formed. I cut the grass from the smaller green plaid from the 6×6 as well. I think that mixing the 12×12 patterns and the 6×6 patterns give the papers more contrast from each other. I added some solid butterflies and purple Easter grass. Unfortunately, my basket is empty…but the Easter candy is showing up in stores so I can fill it soon. 😉
