Hello Friends!
Today’s the last day of Lawn Fawn‘s August Inspiration Week. Today we are featuring Our Friendship Grows, a new set with some cute sunflowers that I just can’t stop watercoloring…seriously. So I created these little mini cards using this set…and yet again Woodgrain backdrops…yes, I might have a problem. On to the cards!
I stamped the sunflowers in Versafine black ink and embossed with clear embossing on watercolor paper. I used my distress makers and water brush to color the images then I used the coordination Lawn Cuts dies to cut the flowers out. The backgrounds I created with distress inks on white card stock. I picked two colors for each card, one lighter and one darker. I blended the lighter color onto the paper with the blending tool then stamped the woodgrain stamp using the darker color. I white embossed the sentiments on some cards and embellished with hot cocoa twine on the others. I also added a little wink of stella glitter on each flower petal. All of these together would make a cute little set of cards to give as a gift.
Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for other projects with this great fall set!
