Hello Friends!
Today I am sharing a fun idea on integrating the Lawn Fawn Give it a Whirl interactive die into a card. I was excited with this idea and how it all came together so I’m also excited to share it with you!
Originally I wanted to try and incorporate the Give It a Whirl into a card by layering it behind the front panel and hiding the larger circle. But I really got excited about the Full Moon being exactly the 3″ circle I was looking for to do this technique!
I wanted to create a space-themed Give It A Whirl card that didn’t require Earth drawing skills like my first version. The moon uses a die and a stencil; it also looks like Cheese! So naturally I had to add a mouse!
Using the Full Moon die also made it easy to create a crescent moon that would hide behind it perfectly. I really love how this card turned out, it was so fun to make. I keep thinking of other round things we can “whirl” away to reveal stuff underneath. You can check out just how I created this card in the video tutorial below or HERE on my YouTube channel.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
