Hello!
Today I’m back with some more homework from the Stenciled class at Online Card Classes. Jennifer did a great project using a stencil with ink in rainbow colors and then flipping it and inking through it again. This is my take on the same idea.
I used the Simon Say Stamp diagonal stripe stencil to create the background. I inked it with distress inks in a rainbow order, then I flipped the stripes in the other direction and went back over the colors again. This stencil created a square pattern that was 5.5 x 5.5 inches so I cut it down and will use the remaining portion of the design for another card.
I stamped the sentiment from Neat & Tangled Just For You stamp set in black Versafine ink for a super sharp image on top of the distress ink. I also used Black soot distress ink to create my black bordered card base, because I was all out of black card stock. The stenciled panel is mounted on the card base with foam adhesive and I sprinkled around a few black satin sequins to finish it off.
I’m sharing another card over on the Neat & Tangled blog today as well, here is a little peek.
Be sure to check it out HERE! Thanks for stopping by today!
