Happy 4th of July to all the USA readers! This week the Lawn Fawn Design Team has been playing with Xyron adhesives…Thanks Xyron for the sticky goodies! I made a festive banner to celebrate Independance day here in the States using the Stitched Party Banners, Louie’s ABCs and Louie’s 123s along with the Happy 4th stamp set.
I cut all my blue banners from Whirlypop card stock and the red circle from Peppermint card stock. I used the smaller banner from Stitched Party Banners along with the stitched circle. I cut the letters from some Neenah Solar White card stock.
I stamped the fireworks and stars from the Happy 4th stamp set in Platinum Planet pigment ink. For the star I used the Puffy Star Stackables. I cut the “4” with Louie’s 123s and add the “th” in matching ink with Clark’s ABCs. I used May Arts Silver Metallic string for the “sparks” from my rocket. I just pulled apart the fibers to create this look.
I used Peppermint Lawn Trimmings to string everything together. I used the Xyron Sticker Maker to adhere all my letters, it easily puts adhesive all over the back with no mess. I used the Xyron glue stick to adhere the red circles and the white star to the banners and I used the adhesive runner to stick down the rocket.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a happy 4th!
Great banner, very creative.
