Get Cracking on Christmas: Joyful Snowflakes

Hello! Today I’m popping to join my fellow Get Cracking on Christmas friends for the last post of the year.  If you don’t already know, the Get Cracking challenge was thought up with my friends Jenn and Cheiron as a way to encourage us to use our Christmas stamps throughout the whole year. I was pretty busy this year and didn’t get too many Christmas cards designed throughout the year but today’s card I mass produced, making 100 of them for my dad to send out to his clients for the Holiday.

I stamped the background tone on tone using the leaves and berries background stamp from Simon Says Stamp. Then I added metallic gold watercolor splatters.

I die cut the Marie snowflake from Simon Says Stamp from white cardstock and sprayed it with a layer of Iridescent Glitter Dust. I layered the snowflake behind the die cut joyful sentiment which is cut from metallic gold paper with a vellum shadow behind it.

Please go visit my friends Jenn and Cheiron to see their holiday creations and join us for the final Get Cracking on Christmas of the year.  Use the hashtag #getcrackingonchristmas so we can see your holiday cards.
