Get Cracking on Christmas: Clean & Simple Snowmen

Hello! It’s time for Get Cracking on Christmas. This is a challenge Jenn, Cherion and I thought up a while back to challenge ourselves to make one Christmas project a month throughout the year. Jenn has carried on the torch keeping it going and bringing in more designers to participate month to month. I’m happy I found the time to take part this month and I have a clean and simple design to share with you too, good for mass-producing.

For the past several years I have handmade my Dad’s Christmas cards he sends to his clients. So designing something easy to mass-produce becomes pretty important since I have to make 100 of them! This month’s My Monthy Hero kit was perfect for this little endeavor.

I kept it simple by stamping the solid background stamp in Peacock ink straight onto the card base with the sentiment in black below. The snowman I stamped in black and used the coordinating die that cuts right to the edge of the image. After coloring a few elements on the snowman I added him to the card and embellished his hat with red stickles and added a few iridescent sequins. Two down, only 98 more to go I guess. Be sure to visit Jenn’s blog to see all the designers sharing Get Cracking on Christmas cards today!
