CAS’s New Shiny Red Bike

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a great weekend.  Today was a busy one for me.  We worked on cleaning out my condo more so we can put it on the market, not completely done yet but we did make some progress.  Then we went to the Tourists game tonight.  For those that don’t know (which I’m sure is most all of you) the Asheville Tourists are the local minor league baseball team.  Great name right?  Well we like it, we are a tourist town after all.  🙂  Then again, maybe some of you did know that… if you have ever seen the move Bull Durham.  Anyway, onto my card.  Today’s card plays along with this weeks CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #8 Getting Edgy.

Okay talk about some serious fussy cutting, which I didn’t think about before I started, but I did it anyway and it turned out well.  I think I’m actually better at cutting with an xacto knife than I am with scissors sometimes.  Probably all those years of architecture school and making models.  I just had to make the bike shiny too.  Who doesn’t love a shiny red bike!  I loved this challenge because I finally got to use my notebook paper edger! I got it awhile back but had yet to make a card that used it, until now.

Hope you all have a great rest of the weekend.  I have to work tomorrow {boo} but that just means I can take another day off next week instead {yay}.  Thanks for stopping by today.
