You’re Tops!

This week’s Lawnscaping Challenge is to use a stamp set in an unconventional way.  Which I have to say really had me trying to think outside the box.  So here is what I came up with.

I used Lawn Fawn’s Bake Me a Cake set to create the circus platform for the seal from Critters in the Snow.  For the bouncy circus balls, I made the stripes using a stamp from “Bake Me a Cake.” The top little ball is the top of the rattle from the “Plus One” set and the stars on the middle ball came from that set as well. I colored the images with copics and added glossy accents for a final touch.

I can’t wait to see what others come up with for this challenge, it was a definitely a challenge indeed! 🙂

WOW! I’m a Lawnscaping Challenge Winner! Thanks!

  1. WOW Chari I love this! I had a similar idea for the current lawnscaping challenge, but I don't have the Bake Me a Cake set so it wouldn't have been nearly as cool!!! =) Great job this card is awesome!

  2. Chari, oh my gosh, great minds think alike! I have been wanting to do a circus seal, but I could not for the life of me, figure out how to make the little platform thingies! I would have never thought to use Bake Me A Cake! You're brilliant! And I love that you combined Plus One in there, too. Such a fun take on the challenge! Best of luck, and thanks so much for playing with us at Lawnscaping! You've inspired me!

To use the cakes as a platform and create balls with more images from Bake me a Cake and the top ball using the rattle? Brilliant! I LOVE the bright colors! You have totally inspired me Chari! 5. Wow, this is incredible. I've been working on something similar with the seal. And your card just knocks it out of the park. I love how you used so many Lawn Fawn sets together. I just love that the sets coordinate so well together, adn in ways we've not even imagined as you've shown here:)
