Hello Friends!
Did you have a good weekend, I certainly did, it just wasn’t long enough. 🙁 I played with the stamps from the Taffy Add-On kit from Studio Calico this weekend as well as a few of the new Hero Arts shadow ink colors and created this clean and simple and cheerful card.
I stamped the hexagon strip in rainbow colors to create the background. The key to this is start in the middle and work your way out, and a Fiskars stamp press is very helpful as well. I stamped the balloon and stars in Versafine Black ink for a crisp image over the hexagons.
The sentiment from this stamp set does not quite fit across a whole card so I cheated a bit by stamping it and folding back the ends where the stamp ended. This way I could stamp just the scallop edge on the ends of my banner and it would look like it was continuous. I actually made two cards with this rainbow background, the second being a salvage of the first panel I stamped for this card (and messed up). I’ll be back tomorrow to share that card. Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have an amazing day.

Very pretty! Love the rainbow of hexagons and that fun confetti balloon.
