Young Crafters Unite! Challenge #5 – Clean & Simple

Hi Friends,
Today I’m back with the next installment of Young Crafters Unite! Challenges.  This month’s challenge is to create a clean and simple card.  Here is what I created!

I was inspired my friend Linda who was working on a card for the Lawn Fawn CHA challenge, and made a big sea of twine for some sea critters.  So I took the same idea and created the twine stripe and used it to anchor my sentiment panel. (which by the way I cut out using the square framelits that my sweet friend Heather sent me! Thanks so much Heather!) I used Lawn Fawn’s hello friend set for the sentiment, stamped in Spice Tin, and the Hero Arts envelope background, stamped in Weather Vane, for the mat panel.

Be sure you check out all the other amazing design team creations.
Check out all the challenge details at the Young Crafters Unite! blog including the amazing prize up for grabs.

  1. Love your idea for a CAS card, the use of the twine is very cool, and I love the glitter and the patterned square behind the sentiment, that stamp came in my last SSS order by Laurel recomendation, can't wait to use it!
