You Make the World…

Hello!

Today I have a simple card to share with an encouraging sentiment created with alphabet stamps and a fun inky die-cut image to go with it. I was inspired by a mug that was given to me by my friend Jennifer that sits on my desk. It simply says you make the world a better place, with a rainbow for the handle. As you know I have been inspired lately to create encouraging cards with the sentiment as the focus and I felt like this sentiment fit right into that category.

The text is stamped with Smitty’s ABCs and white embossed on Blue Jay cardstock. I inked the top edges with black soot and added flecks of white metallic watercolor to create my galaxy sky.

The earth or globe I created by ink smooshing different shades of each color onto watercolor paper then die cutting them with the simple stitched hillside border. I finished it off with a tiny pink heart covered in stardust stickles. You can see just how this card came together in the video below or HERE on my YouTube channel.
