Woodland Critters

This weeks Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge is Woodland Friends, and my new Lawn Fawn stamps just showed up yesterday, one of which is Critters in the Forest…Perfect!  I couldn’t wait to ink up these little cuties.  I used copics to color all the stamps except for the fox (because I do not have any orange colors in my copic collection yet).

By the way I think these little wee Memories Owls are just adorable! Thanks for stopping by today, have a beautiful weekend!

UPDATE:
I made Fab 4 at Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge!
Thanks!

  1. Oh Chari! Loving this scene. The plaid background is fab! Your critters! Your Fox (I too used distress inks as I didn't have the right color Copics, lol), the mushrooms. This card is adorable! Ribbon just seals the deal! Thank you so much for playing along with the Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge!

  2. Okay, I have a new favorite card by you. Chari, this card is SO DARLING! Seriously, I'm squealing over here as if I'd just held a newborn baby! So cute. So, so cute. I LOVE the new LF fox and I can't wait to own this set myself! I love that you perched her on the log. I love the red and green mushrooms. I love, love, love the plaid background, the punched edge, the ribbon crossed like that. I love everything about it! Your shading on the fox is perfect, too. I hate shading, because I am SO bad at it. I never know where to put it. Your copic coloring is wonderful, but I gotta know, how did you color the fox? It doesn't look paper-pieced. I can't figure it out! Lol.

  3. Christiana, The fox is paper pieced with some bazzill basics card stock, I colored in the tip of the tail with a white gel pen. The little leaf stamped on the tree is also from the Critters in the Woods set. I'm glad you like it so much, I was very happy with how it turned out! 🙂
