Winter Wonderland

Hi Friends,

Well it is winter but thankfully it has not been much of a winter wonderland in Western NC this year.  After the past two winters I am rather thankful because I needed snow & bitter cold break.  However winter is not over yet so who knows what the rest of the season has in store.  But I do like snow, when I can stay home and enjoy it!

Lawnscaping’s challenge this week is Winter Wonderland and I create a quick little journal to give my Mom.  She just loves snowmen!  I found the journal in the dollar bin at Michael’s around Christmas time.  I created my little snowman scene and just cut it out and glued it to the front of the journal.  The ribbon is left over from some packaging from a picture album.  I tacked the ribbon down along the spine of the book and then under the snowman’s hat.

The images are colored with copics with some stickles added for sparkle.

Once again it is probably going to be a slow week or two on the blog.  I’m headed to California on Saturday to work in the Lawn Fawn booth during CHA.  If you are going to be there too come by and say hello and see all the new Lawn Fawn goodness! 🙂

  1. This is adorable, and I love how you cut the images with a wide white border. It makes it look like a sticker or a die cut. So clean around the edges. Great project! Have a fabulous time at CHA!
