Hello Friends and Happy Thanksgiving to those in the US!
Today, I have a colorful set of cards to share inspired by the Winter Lights show at the NC Arboretum and all the festive holiday lights of the season.
I pulled out all my holiday light products and had fun creating these cards. My first card features the String of Light Backdrop die, the Scripty Merry, and the new Scripty Merry Outline Add-on. Of course, I added metallic “snow” to the dark blue background for extra shimmer!
Next up I was inspired by a design I saw online and all the holiday decorations popping up in stores to create a snowflake with colorful lights. This is the initial idea that sparked the concept behind all of my cards today. I used the big Stitched Snowflake (one of my favorites!) and the Mini String of Lights to create this fun effect.
Finally, I used an oldie but goodie, String of Lights, to create some giant colorful lights. I wanted to share that no matter what holiday light products you have in your stash you can use them to make some beautifully festive cards.
I did stick to a rainbow of colors but all of these designs could be modified to your favorite colors representing the holiday you are celebrating. Check out the tutorial on how I created all of these fun cards below or HERE on my YouTube Channel.
