Studio Calico: The Underground Card Kit

Hello and happy Reveal day at Studio Calico!
Today the October kits are revealed and available for purchase (to subscribers at noon and to everyone else at midnight).  Here are my projects using The Underground Card kit…by the way I am in love with the little feather die included in the kit so I used it a lot! 🙂

The made a halloween card first because well I was in the fall spirit.  The stamp set in the main kit made some very cute little pumpkins don’t you think?

I like that the ‘happy’ and the ‘Halloween’ are separate stamps so you can use them together or not.

I really do love the feather die in the kit and knew I had to die cut it from the copper metallic card stock.  I wanted to keep this one simple so I picked out this paper from the pad included because it had a nice delicate copper colored pattern on it.

Those frosty embellishments are perfect to accent but not distract from the shiny feathers.  I also embossed the sentiment with copper embossing powder to match.

The compass wood piece and the map paper were just asking to be used together and they go perfectly with this sentiment.

I added a piece of vellum and cut a frame from the copper card stock.  I embellished the compass design with stickles glitter.

More feathers! I told you I loved that die.  These I cut from white card stock then colored by blending on distress ink in peacock feathers and seedless preserves.

All these cards are made with The Underground main card kit only.  I will be back later today with more cards using this kit along with the add-on stamp sets!
