It’s that time of the month…Reveal time at Studio Calico! Time to share some of my projects made with the September Card Kit Poet Society.
My first card is just some clean and simple stamping using two inks for each banner. I inked the stamp with both inks together and then stamped it. Then heat embossed the bold sentiment to really pop.
I added wink of stella glitter to each banner for some shine and finished it off with some of the cute stars from the kit.
My second card is a smaller size and I used the Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle dies to cut the top panel. I stamped the diamonds then cut them out and popped them up with foam adhesive.
I again added some wink of stella glitter for some shine and finished off with the little stars. I tucked some of the ribbon from the kit behind the panel and wrapped it around the back side.
For this card I used Mister Huey’s in various colors to mist the wood banners included in the kit. I stamped m sentiment on my center banner and adhered them down to the front of my card. I added the wink of stella to all the wood pieces for some added interest and used the stars from the kit again for embellishment.
I will be back with another post later today with more cards using the Poet Society card kit as well as the September Add-ons.
Chari, I really like your engagement card. I don't see very many of those, but your's very elegant but yet the stars add some fun too. The velvet ribbon was a great touch too. Great card : )
