Studio Calico: Morgan Add-on kit

Hello!
I’m back with some more projects with the May Studio Calico kits.  These cards use the main card kit Camelot as well as the add-on kit Morgan.

I really loved the peach star paper included in the main kit so I wanted to make a card that really features it. I must be on a coral kick lately.

I really love the gold of the flair so I used the gold ribbon behind it to bring it out a little more and I picked some papers from both kits that went well with the background keeping a nice soft color palette.  

On my second card I used the Bow craft die to create some cute little paper bows.  I picked papers from both kits to cut my bows from.  I used the yellow polka dot card included in the Morgan add-on kit as my base for this one.  It’s 4 Bar size so it makes a cute little mini card.

For my final card I used the Happy craft die to create a thick embellishment for my sentiment.  I used barn door distress ink to darken the edges of the pattern paper on the card front.  I cut a fishtail banner from the extra wide aqua ribbon from the Morgan add-on kit and layered it with the ribbon from the Camelot main kit.

To create the sentiment I used the Happy craft die to cut multiple pieces from white card stock and layered them one on top of the other and finished the top with a piece cut from dark grey card stock.  I think this just adds a little more detail and interest to the sentiment.

I completed the sentiment using the delicate sticker letters included in the Morgan add-on kit and scattered some of the lighter pink dot embellishments around to finish off the card.
