Stitching: Felt Easter Eggs

Hello Friends! Today I am popping in with something fun, a little video hop with me and my friend Nichol Sphor featuring felt stitching! We decided to share some fun felt Easter egg projects with you today.

I created three eggs using Poshta Design Stitching dies and a selection of Benzie Design Bellwether 100% Wool Felt.

All of these Easter eggs start with the Basic Egg die. This first egg uses the Banded Egg Details for the decoration on top of the Basic Egg. I have a cream band with a purple smaller egg layered on top with a cute little tulip. I love how the tulip turned out so I think I want to try adding it to a needle book or scissor keeper for a cute spring set.

The second egg I created uses the Filigree Egg Details. This one is so pretty and elegant looking. I think it would be pretty to do an entire collection of Filigree Eggs in soft pastel colors.

My third egg uses the Egg Window Details and a Monogram letter. I of course used a “S” for Scout. I will add this to her little tent for Easter like I did with the Heart for Valentine’s Day. But you could make one for every person in the family. I made one of these last year for my little cousin Callie. I kept it clear of any beads or sequins since she was only 1 but she loved holding it and playing with it.
