Stitched Holiday Wreath Cards

Hello Friends!

It’s Lawn Fawn Fawny Holiday Week and today I have a tutorial to share using one of my new stitching patterns for the Lawn Fawn Embroidery Hoop.  I recently released three new winter patterns, one of which is the Festive Wreath! But I think this design is easy to customize to any holiday you celebrate. Let’s be honest, we decorate with wreaths all year long just by changing the decor on the wreath! So with a little color and decor change, we can do the same on our cards!

First up, I recreated the more traditional Christmas card I used on my pattern page. The only difference in this version is I used Henry’s ABCs for the sentiment. I wanted all my cards to be as similar as possible and these dies are perfect for customizing sentiments.

Next up I wanted to create some more generic cards. I know not everyone celebrates Christmas so I thought these would be great inspiration as a jump-off point for other cards. I love the monochromatic look of this Winter card. I think you could take any color, not just blue, and achieve the same fun look.

And then finally I created a card with a vintage, retro color scheme. We see so many color schemes now in holiday decor I think the possibilities for this design are pretty endless. I also thought about using browns with white accents like gingerbread, red & white like peppermints, or even rainbow. You know I love a good rainbow! I can’t wait to see the different designs you might try. Also, if you aren’t into stitching, try the mini wreath or large wreath to achieve the same effect.
