It’s that time of year again… Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember! Today we are introducing the Exclusive STAMPtember set Christmas in the Desert, with coordinating dies and coloring stencils!
This fun set features the Critters in the Desert ready to celebrate the holidays in style!
I used the Canyon Backdrop to help set the scene. Cut from kraft cardstock, I added rusty hinge and gathered twigs distress oxide to give it more color and dimension. I decorated the canyon with Santa hats, ornaments, and of course….glitter!
The cactus with Christmas lights is my favorite image in this set so I decided to make a second card using that cute cactus. For this card, I used the String of Lights Backdrop and extra bulbs to create a festive background. I also used Ice Blue Bokeh paper for the background to match the Christmas light look.
And of course we need a big bold sentiment, the Giant Feliz Navidad was the perfect sentiment to add. I cut it out of Silver Sparkle cardstock with a Rainforest cardstock drop shadow. Of course, I finished it off with Stardust stickles on all the light bulbs.
