Hello Friends!
I have more cakes to share today! This time I focused on Springtime cakes that are not holiday related. First up, I created the cutest Bee-day cake! I love the little bees and fully embraced the bee/honey theme!
My favorite part about this cake is the honey ganache! I was so excited that my idea of die-cutting cardstock with gold paste worked beautifully. It was the perfect honey accent to a bee-themed cake!
I also added honey splatters to the cake itself and tiny little honeycombs from the Honeycomb Tag die, cut out of gold glitter! This cake turned out so cute, it may be one of my favorites so far!
My second cake is a bit more elegant with fluttering gold metallic butterflies. I looked for butterfly cake inspiration on the internet and found some beautiful cakes, so I took elements I loved and brought them all together in my cake today.
One element I brought into this cake was a cool gradient look with soft purple and pink pastels. And of course, the gold butterflies, but some of the cakes had fun big gold sprinkles, so that’s where the die-cut gold glitter sequins come in.
