Hello!
Today I have a card to share with product from the newest release from Simon Says Stamp, Friendly Frolic. I got to play with the Folk Dance background die and I’m really happy with how this card turned out.
I used the die to cut some adhesive backed white glitter craft foam then carefully stuck the die cut to a white cardstock background, not pressing down so that the adhesive was not fully stuck down just yet. I pulled off the negative part using a craft pick to help keep the small pieces in place as I went.
After I had the negative removed and the flowers remained I carefully colored them with Copic markers. I trimmed down the panel to the match the edges of the die cuts, mounted it on a mermaid cardstock base and added a sentiment using a stamp from Lawn Fawn’s Happy Happy Happy set and die cut letters from Neat & Tangled’s journaling alpha set.
You can check out the entire new release HERE. Tomorrow (Friday) Simon Says Stamp will have a Facebook live at 12:30EDT showing the new products as well as a blog hop on Friday and Saturday showing inspiration with the new goodies.
