Hello! Welcome to the Season’s Giving blog hop. You can find the entire list of hop participants at the end of this post. The Season’s Givings blog hop is the chance for us crafters to say thank you for reading our blog throughout the year spread the love by giving away some extra no longer used craft goodies to a new home where they will be loved. 🙂
So thank you so much for stopping by to see the projects I have shared throughout the year, and thank you for the kind and encouraging comments as well. I didn’t get as many projects shared this year or as much blogging done but thanks for sticking with me regardless. I have experienced many changes this past year, new additions to life like a new house and a new job, as well as great loss or loved ones and friends as well. Here’s to 2016 and things to come.
Leave a comment below letting me know what big event or change happened for you in 2015 or what you are looking forward to in the coming year. I will pick one winner from comments to win a slightly loved prize package. US shipping only. Leave comments by January 5th for a chance to win. I will be heading to CHA so I will pick my winner upon my return. Here is a look at the prize pack which includes some gently loved stamps from Hero Arts, Simon Says Stamp and Neat & Tangled, dies from Simons Says Stamp and Neat & Tangled and new unused paper pads from Lawn Fawn. Who knows I might even find a few more things to add to the stash! 😉

the biggest change for me was selling my house.
2015 started with the loss of a friend and ended with the loss of another friend. They were both under age 50. I'll be turning 50 next month. In 2016, my goal is to enjoy every minute of life and to be grateful for who's in it.
On the positive side, I really got into making cards for family and friends. I had started last Christmas and was instantly hooked! On the down side, I had surgery on my hand and the recovery was not smooth! I just got released from my second round of Physical Therapy, and (I am happy to say) finally functional! (It was a very l-o-n-g 9 months!)
I finally had achilles surgery in October. It's been a long healing process and hope to finally be able to walk pain free in the new year.
I just started stamping and card making in 2015, which means that 2016 looks to be an expensive year! Thanks for the chance to win!
2015 life changing events, retirement followed the next day by the loss of a sibling. Began card making – retirement is enjoyable scary. Looking to more (positive) life changing events in 2016 learning a lot of new card making techniques with the support of blogs like yours.

It's hard to pick just one major thing in 2015 since my oldest son graduated from high school, my 14-year old son was confirmed in our church, and we moved into a new house my husband had spent a year and a half building! So many blessings! This year I am looking forward to growing in my card-making skills. I am hoping to grow my blog, as well, and would love if you became one of my followers! (I'm following you now!) My blog is http://carriescustomcards.blogspot.com

My very favorite big change during 2015 is that my daughter and son-in-law decided to grow their family through foster parenting with the hope to adopt. I was very lucky to be a foster-grandma to a set of two year old twins and their three year old sibling! The four months they were a part of our family were the most fun of the whole year! We look forward to more placements in the coming year…
Best thing bout 2015 is another new grand baby! Love your creations!
Love your creations! The biggest challenge for me in 2015 was dealing with changes in my health. I haven't totally met the challenge, but I'm getting there. With that said, I know how wonderful my life is and wish that everyone could feel as blessed as I do.

New to your blog. Thank you for participating in hop so I could find you! I like brightly colored cards too. 🙂 2015 had its moments (my dad passed away, hubby and son both diagnosed with degenerative, incurable medical issues) but overall I know I am blessed with wonderful friends and family and a creative streak a mile(or two) wide. 😉
Happy new year to you!

I started watching my <2-year old granddaughter once a week for 24-36 hours.Turns out at this young age she love to flip through my cooking magazines and she loves to go into my craftroom and to color and stamp… pink, purple and orange are her favorite colors!
My 5th grandson was born in 2015, my youngest son was married in 2015. 2016 will be the year of us, hubby & me.
I'd rather not think of the big event from 2015 but focus on the good God will bring from that in 2016. No idea what it will be BUT I know God has great plans ahead for me. : ) Have an awesome time at CHA!
Your cards are so inspirational for me. I have stamped since 1990, but fell out of it. I got back into it recently, and your cards are very cute, and make me want to create again. My goal is to stamp and create everyday this new year.
Thank you for your inspiration.

Biggest event – separated from my husband. but reading through the other comments….could have been worse! Grateful for all that God has done for me.
Chari,
It was a tough 2015 for me as well. I have had a lot of health issues, but more importantly I lost my beloved Mother the day I moved. I am still grieving and probably will be for some time. I have enjoyed your work for a long time, but this year especially and your IG posts of Penny have cheered me on many a bad day, so thank you! I appreciate you participating in this hop and for the incredible prize you are offering. Today (Jan.4th) is my birthday, and without my Mom there is no one to celebrate with, I hope to win and have it be my birthday gift. I hope and pray that 2016 is much better for both of us. Have a good trip to CHA and enjoy your time there.
Hugs,
Maureen
Hi, so my biggest thing this year is I started crafting and I started making cards in 2015
Janie. [email protected]
Wow…beautiful, colorful card, love it!Thanks for sharing and many blessings during this year!
Such a cute card! We experienced many deaths in our family this year and health scares…I hope this year we are met with less loss and better health. Happy New year!
I'm so sorry to hear that you had such a rough year. Unfortunately, life isn't always fair like that. I can relate. My husband's dear friend, whom we both knew, committed suicide 4 days before Christmas. It has been very difficult celebrating the holidays. The one good thing that kept our minds positive was making sure Christmas was good for our daughter. In 2016, I want to think positive and be the best mom I can. Thank you for participating and sharing in this blog hop and Happy New Year!!
Very cure cards and great giveaway. My big 2015 event was my mother moving from her apt 5 hours away to a retirement home 6 minutes from my house. Loving having her close but lots more responsibility for me. Crafting helps me manage my stress levels so will need to find time for crafting throughout 2016.
My biggest accomplishment for 2015, was going back to school after almost 10 years. I am setting some high standards for myself for 2016 and hope to graduate with Honors.
Wishing you an abundance of happiness, success and friendship for 2016!!!
This is my first blog hop! It's taking me some time to check out all the participants, but I'm getting there! Great way to find new sites! Thanks for your generosity & the chance to win!
Ooohhh, what wonderful stamps and dies! My big event in 2015 was taking a new job with a big company. It's a challenge but it makes me get up in the morning 🙂
Thank you so much for sharing your talent and for putting together an amazing prize package. A "big" event for me this year was conquering the Mary Jane run in WinterPark Colorado. It conquered me a couple years back and I was determined to fight back. 🙂
No great events, but a few sad ones. Hoping, like you, that 2016 will be a year full of great events! Thanks.
My biggest event was a new kidney transplanted in 2015. Still recovering, but looking forward to returning to work and living life again.
