Sealed with a Kiss

Hello Friends,
I shared a card and a video last week on the Lawn Fawn Blog that featured mirror stamping the sweet little seals from Critters in the snow.  Today I want to share the card here and tell you a little more about it.

After stamping out the seals I colored them with Copics, one seal is colored using warm grey colors and the other using toner grey colors.  The snowy hills I sketched out with a pencil and cut them by hand.  I then covered them and the igloo completely with Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint.  You may have to zoom into the picture to see this detail better.  I also finally tried out my Calico White Mister Huey’s mist by misting it onto my blue cardstock base.  I also flicked some bigger drops of it on the base in addition to the spray to give a snowy look.  I finished off my snowy sky with some stardust stickles, I filled in the faintly stamped white pigment ink hearts with it as well.

On another note.  Please go check out this post at Lawnscaping if you have not already.  Thanks for stopping by today!  I’ve been working on some new LF stuff, that I can not share with you all just yet, so I apologize in advance if my blog gets neglected for a few days.

  1. I'm glad you told us to zoom in on this cute card. I missed seeing the little hearts the first time I looked. Now, I know you don't want a daily update & I promise I won't report on this again, but I did my 2nd attempt at your reverse stamping and once again it came out great. Thank you for sharing this technique with us.
