Hello!
Today I have a fun, bright and happy Magic Iris card to share with you. This card features only die cuts with the exception of the sentiment and would make the perfect card to brighten anyone’s day as we all try hard to get through this strange time in our lives staying at home and social distancing ourselves.
I created an entire circle rainbow to cover the whole front of the magic iris mechanism. I used my stitched circle stackables nested inside each other to cut my rainbow pieces from white paper. Then I inked each one with distress ink to create my rainbow. I also sprayed all the pieces with Glitter Dust spray for an iridescent shimmer.
After assembling my Magic Iris I glued the rainbow circles to the front. I added some spiffy speckle clouds at the bottom with a little bit of purple ink blended on the top. I also integrated the sunshine die cut behind the pull tab for a fun look. I colored in the sentiment letters to match my rainbow for a finishing touch and added some glitter pen over top.
Finally, to finish it off I added some iridescent bubbles. There is much happier than a rainbow with bubbles. You can see just how this card came together in the video tutorial below or HERE on my YouTube channel.
I hope this card brightened your day. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Very cute card. I’ve made 2 of these now but cannot seem to get the closed circle position all the way closed. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Marsha
if the circle will not close completely you will need to adjust the stabilizer that it bumps against when closed. simply adjust it, it might be crooked but you will not see it so that will not matter, just move it over until the opening closes all the way.
