Hello!
Today I am sharing some quick and easy cards you can create with pattern paper in your stash. Â I pulled out a rainbow of colors from many different pads to create these cards but you could easily use all the papers in a particular paper collection to create cards like these.
My first card is simply strips of paper cut at different widths and arranged on a card base with white between them to fill the front. A bold black die cut sentiment and a few hearts complete the card.
For my second card, I covered cardstock with strips of the same size then die cut a heart. Â I layered a white die-cut rectangle on the card base for a white on white matt and added a simple die cut sentiment.
My third card took the 1/2″ strips I had cut and turned them into 1/2″ squares to create a patchwork pattern. This could also be achieved with square dies for and even more polished look. I love the bold stamped sentiment speech bubble from Chit Chat.
Finally, my last card I created a panel of diagonal stripes in varying widths and added a simple die cut sentiment.
You can see just how all these cards came together in the tutorial video below. Â I hope you will be inspired to make some simple yet beautiful cards using the papers in your stash.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
