Do you remember the punny Valentines we used to get in school? We would go to the store and pick out a box of our Valentines with our favorite characters. They would be filled with pictures and punny sentiments, and then we would give them out to our whole class. Well, that is the inspiration for today’s quick and easy bookmarks!
I wanted to share multiple ideas for diving into your crafty stash and making some easy Valentine’s bookmarks that even the kiddos can help you make. I would have loved to make my valentines like this when I was young so maybe your kids will love it too! And bonus, they are bookmarks, something useful and less likely to be tossed in the trash right?
Each design features a few images from a stamp set, an easy stenciled background (which could also be pretty pattern paper), and a punny sentiment!
I stuck with critters but any fun image will do! I think food with faces would be a great theme as well, I mean who doesn’t love tacos am I right?
These were so simple to make and make a great project to do with a group, just stamp color and have fun!
