Punny Die-Cut Cards

Hi Friends!

Today I am popping in to share some punny cards! I used die cuts and Henry Jr’s ABCs to create custom punny sentiments for my cards.

When I was making cards with the stitched gourds all I could think of was punny sentiments to go with the die-cuts. So I had to make these cards and bring those ideas to life.

First up, “Aww Shucks” paired with corn, for all those moments when we forget and have to send belated greetings. I stamped the cornstalk from Happy Harvest behind my corn. I also added a little ink blending to the corn for some dimension.

I used the neutral gingham from the Fruit Salad collection for the background and mounted it onto a kraft card base. Henry Jr’s ABCs paired with Offset Sayings: Birthday made the perfect sentiment. I love the mix of fonts.

Next up, Oh my Gourd! It’s Your Birthday! HA! I loved being able to use the gourds and pumpkins for something other than a fall card. The little mice from You Autumn Know were the perfect fun addition. They look like they are having so much fun in the pumpkin patch.
