Hello Friends!
I am so excited to be joining Poshta Design this week introducing the new Fall Release! Fall is my all time favorite season so I was more than happy to jump start the fall crafting with this new release! The new Poshta Design Fall Release will be available for purchase Saturday, August 23 at Noon ET. But until then…on to the introductions!
Today’s introductions are for the new Let’s Play Collection! This new collection is just what all the sports fans out there have been waiting for. And don’t worry, I have it on good authority that there will be more sports added to the collection in future releases but for now we are introducing Let’s Play: Cheer, Let’s Play: Football, Let’s Play Soccer, and Let’s Play Volleyball.

I finally used the Statement Alphabet Dies to create my first banner. It was so fun and I think I owe my husband one for his team now. As a graduate of NC State I felt a WOLFPACK banner was in order. I also used the Accessory Alphabet to customized the Let’s Play: Cheer Die (retail $17). Four letters is a tight fit but I managed to squeeze it in there!

The letters themselves are created with a layer of felt (I of course used Cardinal) and a layer of cardstock (I used Black Licorice) to create a nice sturdy banner. I did not add any stuffing to the letters because I wanted the sport elements to be interchangeable! That’s right, when football is over, pop off the Let’s Play: Football (retail $30) for something else! Each element has two small strong magnets sewn onto the back with a circle of felt, and they will attract to another magnet on the back of the letter allowing each one to be switched out easily or removed all together.

My banner conveniently had an “O” which perfect for a round ball like Let’s Play: Soccer (retail $25) and Let’s Play: Volleyball (retail $25) but this idea can be applies to any letter or even just added to the end of the banner!

I love the idea of one banner for many uses!
Poshta Design also has two new autumn color stories as part of this release. Heritage Harvest and Bejeweled. I used Heritage Harvest for a project later this week so stay tuned. It’s a lovely muted fall palette inspired by nature that was perfect for my project. This palette included Fig, Toasted Oat, Russet, Ochre, and Weathered Moss. (retail $55)

Come back tomorrow for spooky Halloween projects! I had so much fun stitching them up and can’t wait to share!
Wonderful projects! I would love to see the magnet detail on the pieces! I’m so dang excited for this!
Great for any Sports fan!!
