Poshta Design: Chevron Egg & Embroidered Egg IV

Today, I am excited to join Poshta Design for the reveal of their Spring 2025 Release!

You are going to love this release! I had so much fun playing with the new dies, and I didn’t even get to all the ideas I have floating around in my head. So, stay tuned because I hope to share more after the Release. First, the important info the release will be at noon ET on Saturday, March 29, 2025.

Now on to today’s introductions! First up, the Chevron Egg Details Die. Use this new die with the Basic Egg to create a fun chevron pattern. I stitched two versions of the chevron egg, one with a rainbow and one with a simplified color palette.

The Rainbow Egg uses Pearl Felt as the base with stripes in Paloma, Coral Reef, Marmalade, Pistachio, and Pixie.

I added a few sequin embellishments from the Hello Sunshine Color Story; the pearly white sequins are perfect on this colorful egg. The other egg features a Marmalade basic egg with added Coral Reef stripes. I pulled out the Dreamsicle color story embellishments for this one to match the purple stitching and felt colors.

There is also a new embroidered egg on the block, the Embroidered Egg Details IV. This die coordinates with the Basic Egg and comes with a handy stitching guide.

I used the floss colors that matched the rainbow of the chevron egg for all of my embroidery details on a Pearl Felt egg. To add more variation, I used chain stitches for the straight lines. I also used two colors for the center stitching in a zig-zag pattern that overlaps. The sequin and bead embellishments come from the Dreamsicle color story.

Lizzie also has a few new color stories and felt colors in this release. I picked the Hello, Sunshine color story! Sweet Pea and Hopscotch color stories will also be available. Also, new felt colors, Marine and Geranium. I used Geranium on a few projects as well, and it is beautiful.

But the Hello, Sunshine color story was perfect for tomorrow’s projects! I can’t wait to share! Remember the new dies, color stories, and felt colors will be available at noon ET on Saturday, March 29, 2025
