Poshta Design 2024 July Release: Homespun Holiday: Beautiful Bells Kit

Today is the last day of introductions for the July 2024 Poshta Design Release! Today is the new kit for the coming year, Homespun Holidays: Beautiful Bells. These Christmas bells are truly classic and traditional.

I used them, along with a few of the new star shapes, to create a festive wreath. Now I will say that red is one of my most favorite colors and use a lot of red in my Holiday decor. So although the kit comes with classic bell colors like white, silver and gold I had to pull in the Cardinal felt for that pop of holiday cheer.

There are so many choices for design on these Beautiful Bells and the included inspiration sheet shares even more options when you combine this new kit with older kits and dies. The possibilities are endless really. I chose to stick to the designs included in the kit for this project. My wreath is only 10″ so two bells filled the inside perfectly but a larger wreath would be lovely with many more bells hung inside.

My love for stars is also great, so naturally, I added stars to the bottom. The white star is the small version of the Embroidered Snowy Star and the small red stars are the interior pieces meant to layer behind the Folk Art Star details, but they make the perfect little additions to this wreath.

I added gold embroidery floss to my stitching and made bows from it as well, which are attached with a tiny dot of glue. I am very pleased with the end result.

Measurement reference:
The bell measures 3 ⅛” wide by 3 ¾” tall. The oval window opening measures just under 1 ⅜” wide by 1 ¾” tall. The diamond trio motif measures just under 1 ¾” wide by 1” tall.
