Poshta Design 2024 July Release: Figgy Pudding & Peppermint Twist

Hello Stitchy Friends!

I am joining Poshta Design today as we introduce the new dies in the 2024 Christmas in July Release! Today we are featuring Sweet Treats: Figgy Pudding and Peppermint Twist dies.

First up is the newest Sweet Treat, Figgy Pudding! What? Piggy Pudding? No, Figgy Pudding… it’s made from figs… and bacon! If you get this reference you are my people. HA!

I cut my figgy pudding from Fig felt (naturally) and the icing on top from Shortbread. I love the little accents of beads and the fun holly makes it super festive.

Here is a little more info about the Sweet Treats: Figgy Pudding Die.

No traditional Christmas feast is complete without a classic figgy pudding. This addition to the Sweet Treats lineup embraces the time-honored dessert, essential at the holidays. Create your own delectable yuletide confections that are sure to delight (and stay fresh!) year after year.

Measurement reference:
The fully assembled figgy pudding measures between 3 ⅝” wide by just under 2 ⅜” tall.

Retails for $20

Next up is the Peppermint Twists die. This die also has parts to cut a cute candy cane but I decided to focus on peppermints. I added a few iridescent beads to the white areas and bright red sequin to the center. But my favorite idea with these was wrapping them in cellophane like real candy.

These would be adorable tucked into a dough bowl, displayed on a tiered tray, strung into a garland with the candy canes, or placed on a Christmas tree. So many places for peppermints!

Here is a little more info about the Peppermint Twist Die.

Peppermint is one of the most quintessential flavors of the holiday season. The gleeful red and white is a favorite for everyone from Great Grandma to Santa himself. Whether they’re hanging on a tree, adorning the family gingerbread house, or swirling in a cup of cocoa, candy canes and peppermints are a beloved part of the Christmas experience. Create ornaments, tags, and other seasonal decor with this charming die.

Measurement reference:
The candy cane measures 5” tall by 2 ¼” wide. The peppermint is 3” in diameter.

Retails for $32

Everything featured this week is available Saturday, July 6th at Noon ET.  Come back tomorrow when I will share a couple of fun star projects!
